A little bit of our story here …

It’s an exciting time to be in the North and we’re glad you stopped by. Sometimes a week can go by so quickly, and other times it seems to take an eternity. Knowing that life continually takes twist and turns, it’s vital that we have a place where we can be, and a people we can be with. Playford UC is a place where we remind each other that through all of life Jesus is close and strong and true.

WORSHIP SERVICES

Sundays at 10am

Our Sunday gatherings seek to be a life giving experience that will encourage, inspire and challenge you as we worship, learn and grow together. Our services include singing, prayer, a message and monthly Communion. Sometimes our Youth run the whole program. We try to create an environment where you are able to worship honestly, vibrantly and meaningfully. We keep it relaxed and enjoyable, so feel free to come and check things out.

Kids are welcome and we work hard to involve and engage our children and young people in all aspects of our community. Come along and make friends, become a part of our community and grow to know and love God too.

After the service you’re is invited to stay and catch up over Barista made coffee and often there’s morning tea. It’s a great time for further encouragement, comfort and community.

Services are at 10am on Sundays. Come and visit or find our services live streamed on our Youtube channel.

WE ARE PART OF THE UNITING CHURCH
AND GENERATE PRESBYTERY

The Uniting Church SA seeks to be an innovative, growing church proclaiming Jesus Christ, empowered by the Spirit to transform God’s world.

The Uniting Church is a young church – formed on 22 June 1977, when the Congregational, Methodist, and Presbyterian Churches united to become one.

The Basis of Union is the document which affirms our Christian faith and is the guide to what is central to the life of the Uniting Church in Australia.

We are a member of the Generate PresbyteryPassionate Disciples. Courageous Leaders. Renewed Congregations

Generate Presbytery is a Non Geographical Presbytery spanning the breadth of the South Australian Synod. Together we are comprised of around 115 congregations and ministry agents.

Our heart beat is to see people come to faith in Jesus Christ, grow in their discipleship, new leaders raised up and empowered and congregations planted and renewed.

MISSION AND VISION

Mission

We call our building a “Community Space” rather than a church for 2 reasons.

Firstly, we are committed to being an integral part of our local community, not just a building in the community. This incredible building that God has given us is a gift to the community, a space for the community to use, not just a building to hold church services and church events.

Secondly, we believe the church is far more than the building we meet in, or the meetings we hold. The church is a people who are discovering that Jesus is indeed the way and the truth of life itself. Church is a living, breathing community full of the hope and love of Jesus.

One of our dreams is to see our building become a “7 days a week” Space. We love seeing the Space full of people every day, not just on Sunday. We are excited about the opportunity to share this Space with people and groups from our Community and to develop partnerships with them and be a blessing to them and to all in the North.

Vision

Our heart is captured by a desire to be: “A people Awakened by the Spirit, Moving in our Communities, Cultivating Hope and Transforming Futures”
